Modern Girls ReviewThe intro is told from the point of view of Steve Garrett, the main detective in Modern Girls written by Gary Griffin. This is a mystery-of-sexy-proportions set in the Los Angeles area. Then we learn about Andi (the model) and Sid (moviemaker) in the third person and we see how their relationship evolves, or really how Sid just hits on every pretty girl. Those are the three primary characters, though there are others. In the beginning it took me awhile to get into the story, because there is a lot of backstory at first...but as the story gets to the mystery the novel picks up speed and I enjoyed the twists and turns of the mystery. This is good for those who like some sex, but not overtly in their novels with a combination of mystery.
The author gary Griffin has three titles in this series: Modern Girls, Artful Girls, and Sexy Girls.
