Doing Life God's Way Review"Doing Life God's Way" is a book compiled of short stories about how to deal with difficult situations that most adults deal with at different points in their lives; it also explains how God might want us to handle those situations without sinning through our speech and actions. Each story (except for the last one) is followed by Scriptures to mediate on, questions to help understand what someone would do if they go through some of the same situations in the stories, questions for further thought, and a closing prayer that reflects the morals that were taught. The purpose of this book is to develop God-honoring thoughts and actions to help people deal with any of the situations that they face that are described in the stories.
Some of the stories made me laugh so hard that I cried while others seemed very serious. I had memories pop into my head of the some of the same type of situations I had gone through in the stories and I began to think of better ways I could have handled those situations. Most likely I will be pulling this book out at various times in my life to review the information from the stories as I go through the situations again or for the first time in some cases.
This is a great book to read if you want to learn how to have more God-honoring thoughts and actions about difficult situations you face at the places you serve at, the stores you shop at, at the airport, and at various other places.
